Illustration Friday: "E" IS FOR...

"E" is for EVIL villain. You've seen this type of hombre before -- he's the one who lurks around in the shadows, kidnapping dames & tying them to railroad tracks.

Find illustrations like this one for sale at my online shop.

HE! HE!! Fun character!

I love him. I immediately thought of a Warner Bros. character -- not for the style but for the way the character's personality is so obvious. Too bad Mel Blanc isn't around still.

Nice illustration - fun and whimsical! ...makes me want to go find some rerun of Penelope Pitstop so I can see Dick Dastardly twirl his mustache! (you're probably too young to remember those cartoons!)

Keep Creating!

My god where is Dudley Doright when you need him! Love it.

It reminded me of Dick Dastardly aswell - it really does convey that evil face.

Wouldn't it be great if life was like the movies... in that an evil person was easily recognizable. And it'd be helpful if we had background music so we'd know when such a person was lurking nearby.

Always love your work! Great styles.

Your characters are so much fun! He's the perfect villain. Love the colors you chose, love his wicked grin, and I gotta say I'm almost envious of his tiny waistline :o) Love it - great choice for the topic!

Good villian! Good character design. I spent many years working for a Christian publisher (in Nashville) myself.

Good Stuff! I see others had the same thought as me, Dudley Doright and Dick Dastardly. Very Cool!

Totally love it! The colors are a perfect choice for this evil villian - and I love the broad chest down to the itty-bitty waist.

I love this diabolical expression... very nice lines and the western looking "E" font is great! Is he all digital?

Ya-it was the big chin with the swirl that gave him away. And my-what a tiny waist. Love it. It is fantastic.

Simply great. Really enjoyed scrolling down for the rest of your equally superb characters. Very, very cool. Peace.

He's got a lot of personality, but I have to say...he looks a bit like Dubley Doright in disguise! It might be his ouffed out chest and wide grin.....I just love the faces on your characters, and this one is great too:>
