Illustration Friday: PORTRAIT

It was cool to see this week's IF topic in my inbox this morning, because I had just finished this quasi-caricature portrait for a coworker & friend of mine. His son is playing John Darling in his school's version of Peter Pan, and he wanted a caricature done to commemorate it.

I did the outlines in pencil & then colored in Photoshop. Worked out pretty well.

This is really , really wonderful in every way! What a nice commemoration, and the final has so much spirit. I like the pencil sketch as well. Surely your friend is thrilled, no?
