Illustration Friday: BLANKET

Weren't dryer-warmed blankets the best?!

When we were kids, Mom used to put our towels in the dryer while we were in the tub so they'd be all toasty-warm when we got out. Same principle. I'd do it now, but the shower's upstairs and the dryer's in the basement.... I don't think our neighbors would appreciate all the nude towel-fetching.

That reminds me -- I need to get some blinds.

Nice take on blanket, and really like the crisp, clean, happy style

this is great. Happiness is indeed a warm blanket fresh from the dryer!

Your colors are expertly done! But your idea is even better. Who doesn't love a fresh warm blanket. You should see me try to fold my towels! I dump them on the bed and try to fold and my dog fights me as she tries to make it her bed!

Love your illustration and the story behind it:).

I like the contrast of the smooth texture on the boy and washer/dryer vs. the background.

Good use of shadows in the background call attention to the boy. Great job.

PJ's are also very comfy straight out of the dryer. Great style and concept!
